Can a 40 hp TLDI be converted to a 50 hp?
50hptiller, how much did the homemade lwp gain you?

pull the restrictor out of the throttle body. it is right on the outside behind the screen. if you are careful you can pull the screen, remove the restrictor, and replace the screen. you will see a difference in power. the lwp is faster by a lil bit.

I'm looking at getting a 40tdli but it has tiller steer and I want to convert to helm steering. It sure looks like it has a hollow tilt tube to facilitate this.
Does it have a "standard" size tilt tube?
thanks.
