well i've only had it a month or so,so i don't take credit for it's design or building. Al Stoker built it in 1999 with a merc hp500 and the owner sent it to GT Performance a few years later and had the motor rebuilt(new Merlin block and all)as a 509 cid with a whipple charger and a beefed up outdrive. the previous owner(s)(jim carpentar,dave Faria). have had it to 112mph. i have yet to go a 100. i believe it has about 800hp and makes 10psi of boost. it handles extremely well and is extremely responsive to driver input. thats my opinion but don't let me paint a picture of myself here as someone actually has experience with modvp's or much else,lol. very interesting site you guys have here and thankyou for building a site with facts. -Jas
