Does anyone have or know where the picture of the tunnel boat that crashed into a billboard? Crazy sounding, I know. But I have seen it before. Any leads would be helpful. Thanks.

Somebody please decribe the action that lead to this. If it was my malt shop I would promote it with a new malt or shake called the "Tunnel Twister" or "Mellow Yellow" or something like that. Maybe make it with bananas and chocolate chips added. Or maybe a float with root beer and lemon sherbert.

Wayne,
The setting is the Cypress Gardens jet ski showgrounds. That billboard is actually a backdrop near a stage (ramp) that water skiiers use for the show. In other words, the billboard is a "prop" (pardon the pun).
If you watch the video, you'll see that when Rinker's boat started to kite during his time trial run, the boat bobbled and then was headed straight for the grandstands. Some friends of mine were right there in the stands and thought they were doomed.
But instead of going into the stands, the boat hit the ski ramp, which redirected the boat into the air and then into billboard.
Rinker then got his backup boat and I think had a crash with that one too. Then he went for his THIRD backup boat (which was on display at the front of the park) and ran it in the final. I think he may have even placed on the podium! The team sure earned the prize that weekend.

I’ll never forget that day, SCARY!
I was in the grandstands with my brother and his son, Terry was coming strait at us, people jumped of their seats and started running out, my brother grabbed his son and threw him all the way up and than started pulling me by the arm to run but I wanted to catch everything on the tape. Boat actually settled few feet before the stands and Terry managed to turn left where he met a ski jump ramp that was tied to the stands.
I still got that tape somewhere but I wouldn’t know how to put it on the computer, and BTW that was my first race (as a spectator) in the USA what a welcome ah?

It was a last race of the season and last Formula 1 race for the PROP tour period.
Top three boats (Terry, Greg and Tim) were separated by only few points so title was still on the line. Terry was going for the pole position and few extra points that comes with it.
Accident happened on time trails because start/finish line was right after turn 4 so some drivers instead of making a turn tried to make one strait line from turn 3 to start/finish line by eliminating turn 4.
