V50-new junior offshore class in Norway

My daughter as pilot with her friend as navigator- the only pure
"girl" boat in the class. 22 teams at start last weekend, real offshore racing from flatt water to 1,5 meters waves, the kids gets really rocked around.
Great fun and great racing at low cost. All brands 50 hp stock outboards in, only v-bottoms. (Ron, I know you have even supplied one of the teams with propellers)

The class is limited to stock 50 hp, no blueprinting, 20" shaft on engine, some uses 15" merc but they are hard to sell later to commercial crafts,
top end speed between 45 and 50 knots, minimum weight 450 kgs including, crew and lifting harness. In general the 2 strokes are faster but we will get there with the 4 stroke Honda getting the right props.
