Ron, I've only been to one race so far ... the one in Oroville where I picked up Daren's Hydro. Most of the setups I observed used 3 blade props, some had 4. Are the two blade props competetive with the 3 blade props?

There are so few GOOD TWO BLADES LEFT, see, the three blade kicked butt on the two, when everyone ran their propshaft even with or above the bottom. By the time the rule change came to lower the motors most good two blade had been made into three blade, by welding the hubs...
Every now and then, someone comes out with a two blade and just kicks total ***...As John Peters did in A Hydro at Bakersfield last spring..Andy Hnasen does it now and then...
This Winger, I feel, could really haul on an OSY 400...as OSY's don't have a weight requirement, and a light set up, with a big wheel was always been a hummer!!!!
NOTE: This might not be the right wheel for a new driver....because, bet me, but it will be a handful...Troy.....blank here, Hauenstein's cousin...light weight, B and H hull...maybe... (Oh,Troy Christy!!!!) But, a B and H Hydro, with below CSH weight is more than a handful with any prop...

Hey Ron, I had my first race last weekend. This weekend it will be Lawrence Lake, which will be mainly inboards, and a pretty long course for 20 SSH & CSH. Daren gave me one of your old 3 blade props which I used at the Bridgeport race. Since Lawrence is such a long course I'm going to try out that Winger prop I got from you. I'll let you know how it works out. Thought you'd like to know

If that "WINGER" doesn't work out for you, I might like to trade you something for it...A Smith "WINGER" would be nice for my Propeller Museum....
