I am glad to see the update Dale. I had a couple that I didn't see on the last list, so now I need to check to see if you've X'd them in. Let you know.

What does XD mean....duplicates? There are some from the late 70's through the earky 80's that were published biweekly. I have some. Not clear if you have both issues of a particular month or just one. Thanks for the update. I may have some you are missing.

The D means it is a digital copy and not the actual magazine. Dave Haman sent me the 53 and 54 editions after they had been scanned and saved so I could post them.

Good idea. A way to get you the info and still keep copies in his library. Would you like to have hard copies of the digitalized issues yourself Dale if some were available? What about the biweekly issues I mentioned? Do you have both issues for each of the months you checked off?

I always prefer to have the hard copies but if people don't want to part with them and have digital copies of ones I don't have that is fine as well. I know I have some of the biweekly editions but I will have to go back and look and update the list. Was that not done for just a couple of years Wayne ?

Yes Dale, just for a year or so at the end of Jimmy Carter's run. The dollar value dropped in relation to the mark and yen, plus around 18-20 percent inflation and another gasoline shortage. Costs to race soared. APBA members dropped like flies and APBA had to go to cheap paper and bimonthly editions along with other changes in order to help stabilize the organization. Probably had to cut staff that put together the Propeller. Don't remember all the details. I will go check what I have, because you would not necessarily know what you don't have.
