The paint pattern on the driveshaft looks like one of 2 NOS Chryslers I sold a few years ago. If it is, the water pump impellor is only 6 years old, not 35 years old.

This is the shorter version of the early version .... 5 1/4" from the prop to the cav plate. The longer version is 2 inches longer below the cav plate .... about 7 3/8" from the prop to the cav plate. The prop shaft is 7/8", 1/8" larger than the early Merc Speedmaster. Gear ratio is most likely 7% overdrive, could be 7% reduction. Rotation isn't listed, could be either. The one I sold was RH. RH and LH seem to turn up equally. The gears are a little bigger than Mercs and are not double pinion. The bigger fatter gears seem to outlast Merc Speedmaster gears.
