Yes..K Racing Runabout: (from Goboatracing.net) The KRR is the big daddy of automotive powered runabouts. The engines are supercharged or turbo charged-basically, anything goes. Brute horsepower sends the hulls flying around the race course at over 140 mph. Some say the KRR driver willing to push the accelerator the longest and hardest will surely win.

"...According to Peggy Wendt, the chief scorer for the event, Duff Daily, from Stewart, Fla., powered his way to two records. The first record he set Thursday was in Terry Bilbrey’s K-Racing Runabout (K-23), blistering the course at 147.264 mph, just slicing the old record of 146.649 mph. The second record Daily set was in John Brinton’s Pro Stock (PS-997), screaming at 137.586 mph; blowing away the old record of 130.412."
The rest of the records are listed at:

One word, "Duff", and just about everyone remotely associated with the sport of powerboat racing knows exactly who you are refering to. Duff is truely a boatracer's boatracer.........And a hellofa nice guy as well. He has contributed so much to our sport over the years, held many different records, in different classes, at various times over a long and successful career. My hat is off to him and those involved in setting these new records. The best part about it is he will be the first to say, "records are made to be broken", and then he would help the next guy/gal that comes along looking to break his!!!!!! Congratulations Duff, from Ray and the PS 89 team............
