Ron:
So the #42 Power Cat in the photo has McCullough motors?
Who drove the other two Scott rigs they mention in the caption?

Bob Kies and Jack Oxley both told me that McCulloch had made some long shaft racing motors to use in offshore racing, but that they raced in very few races.

I've never seen the long shaft version.

I have been trying figure out which year my dad ran the Nassau race.
It was the last time he competed as a driver. It would have been
in these mid 1960's years. He had promised my mom he would not
race anymore, and flew to Florida on the pretence of going to Lake X
to help with a Power Cat set-up. We found out he ran in the race
some months later in a magazine article. If one of you guys come
across his name in any of the entry lists I sure would like to know.
