What can anyone tell me about this class other than most guys are running Yamaha WaveRunner motors and reaching speeds as fast as the 2.5 guys in some spots..

This is what APBA inboard web site has about the class. I see they are running around the 105mph mark. 4 cyl. mod engine. I would gather they are automotive engines at that speed. I could be wrong.:o

Most guys are running 3cyl yamahas right out of wave runners and a couple guys are running snowmobile motors Just trying to get more info.
