Looking for internal parts for a super speedmaster ( early 1970s ).
Basically want all parts except case and drive shafts :), if you got any new or used parts let me know .

Have you gotten the V-4 90 to run yet? I was wondering if it had the correction in the crab for when it went itno a hard left turn. The 90's used to starve for fuel in a hard left, that inline 4 barrel needed some type of baffle in the float tanks, and in late production, before the 100's was released OMC corrected it. At least my memory tells me that's what it was..

You have two beautiful projects going there! My buddy was just given a 150 Merc inline on an 18' Sea Ray. He changed a belt, and he boats every weekend in Mission Bay!

Have had the 90 V4 running for 2 years now, but it's never finished :) , having some trouble with the electric shift.......might convert it to manual this summer .

I think I used a carb from the later 100 hp engine ( but with 90hp jets ),I knew this was the first 90hp from Johnson/Evinrude so I guess it got some problems ( new block and carburetor design )

Running this engine on a Selco Selfleet (http://www.drolsum.net/selco/pages/selco_1.html)( Norwegian boat design), not the fastest boat but it does run 40 miles at 5000 rpm .

Droll-16 I have a copy of the speedmaster parts list. It shows part numbers and part pictures of Speedmaster, sportmaster, Quicksilver lower units. Also give sprop numbers for these units. Also have copy of orginial ad for speedmaster unit. This stuff is dated 1965.Speedmaster and Superspeed master are different units. If interested e mailme for cost.

Need some tech info to rebuild this LU, shimming, gear lash, bearing clearance, torque ( pinion nuts, anchor nut, prop shaft nut ) ++
