LOOKING FOR A M/C USED MERC SHIFT SWITCH, LAST PART NO WAS
39670A28...IF ANY ONE IS SCRAPING A OLD I/O OUT I SURE COULD USE ONE OF THESE...I AM TRYING TO HELP OUT A OLD FRIEND OUT THAT HAS A OLD IN-LINE 6 M/C (1971)...THERE IS A UP-DATED SWITCH KIT..BUT THE 2002 SERVICE BULITON SAYS YOU GOT TO REPLACE THE DAM TRIM PUMP ASSY..AND THATS MORE THAN THE BOATS WORTH.. LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER MERC GOOD IDEA TO ME.. THE FRIEND IS IN HIS 80'S AND JUST WANTS TO FISH A FEW MORE TIME BEFORE ITS HIS TIME TO GO.:confused: :confused: :confused:

Dwayne - It sounds like your after the shift interupt switch. This switch is located on the shift cable mounting plate. I believe I have one at the shop in my stash box. I will check this week when I'm there. If anyone else has one for you I'm sure they will chime in.
