I have a lot of European Sport C videos (S-500 and later S-550).
Have to look if I can get some clips online?
But here is one of the fastest boats
MTM Composite hull driver J.Alanko (nowadays importer of Tohatsus).

If you are familiar with tunnelboats you can easily figure out something about the speed if you look at how the boat rides and the angle of the engine.
This engine revved 7800 RPM with a 20" prop
