If you look at the picture of the bottom by the transom, that is how the Berghauer Boys sanded their bottoms...

Short Sponson Sid... I thing, looks like Jimbo's Sid...I think this boat is actually a 1964 Sid...

This past spring I visited Bobby & Joanne Urvtzky who are very close friends of mine. Booby built the Sid-Son hydros & tunnels. The Propeller pitch guage that Sid is using in the picture was given to me by Bobby as well as Sid's very crude prop box from the 40's with several props inside. One looks like a CSH prop that Sid had made for me. It was a little stiff but fast.
