Here's a picture of the tower I made for my Bass gearcase 4 or 5 years ago. Started with an old fishing tower, cut off the bottom, and welded on the bottom shown here with merc 500 waterpump impeller and machined in cavity. Swivel is from a mark 75. The powerhead is a modified sst 60 56 cube. It's a monster. More of this stuff over on the weldingweb.com. I run this for fun on a 12'6" laydown Pugh, courtesy of Dave Weaver.

Do any of them mod 50 front halfs use stock V-4 reeds and cages ? which ones . ?? i have a friend who wants to cast me a front , but i have nothing for him to copy . are all (55-through 75 horse) front halfs the same ? if all else fails , i guess a stocker could be cut and V-4 parts welded on? (i am a welder & have mig & tig outfits in my garage . But, no place for a boat ,SIGH)

the 19-s uses the v4 reedblocks, if your guna make one, use 5 over 5 blocks,
put starter mounts on it.

? , i don't know, 5 over 5 got to be V6 or V8, maybe not cuzz it's a strightin,
the 5 over 5 blocks are even on each side, no down sweep in the intake.
5 over 5 blocks are 31-m, 4 over 4 with the slope are 19-s:cool:
