Thinking AGAIN....
Super Sport, from reading the posting in the propeller is passed hurting....
Why not considering some changes?
1. Read Parker's General Racing Rules.
2. Read Division V's rules.
Why NOT a NOSTALGIA OUTBOARD CLASS??? 80 MPH speedlimit???
Capsuled and non Capsuled boats. Any Outboard.
This way, the Division V boats that want to race in California or anywhere else, could be combined with Inboard Nostalgia for their own points...

I asked Ross about running in Nostalgia with an outboard. He said he was going to look into it. I'd like to run my boat if there is a class for it.

Hey Ron
Thanks for the e-mail reply.
If I can run my SuperSport in the nostalgia outboard class, I will be at all of the west coast races that have it.
What are the class rules?
I think you stated 80 mph on gps. Perfect for my set-ups. I run 85 with a 29 SRX --81 with a 27 SRX and 79 and change with my 27 -4blade
Is there any race dates I can plan on?
Thanks

2 Bakersfield races, Long Beach, San Diego and two Parker races...It won't be easy beating my "BOY" Pat in Nostalgia Outboard....

I don't plan on beating anyone. I just want to race. I will be showing up with a Visioncraft and a stock 150 Evinrude, per SuperSport rules and race. In 2001 I towed my boat 18,000 miles about the same in02. 2003 it dropped down to about 10,000 miles.
Ron, the one thing you can count on with me is,,, If there is a race, I WILL BE THERE. Ask anyone that knows me.

Is it OK to stay in my motorhome at these race sites? I am trying to decide my travel plans. With a SS boat, you don't have to work on engines so I have to be thinking about something, lol
Thanks for any comments

I know that Bakersfield allows motorhomes. Just watch out for anyone carrying a sack of Idaho spuds.... :p
