I posted in V-Drive , but should have posted here first. I am looking for information on a GN that was owned by several people....one was Al Gonzales, there is a post by Tomtall under this link about the 25th Parker....this boat was in that post and I cant read the bottom of that caption, it may be the name of the boat ? Tomtall can you give me any help with this , and do you have any more photos ? You can email or pm me if you want thanks, wayne

The last that I heard about this boat was that it was owned by Gary Koller (sp). I think that he baught it from Al. He owned and raced it a few years ago under the name "BIG DAWG". Last I heard Gary was living in So. Cal. Maybe Ross can get contact info from Jay Littlejohn. Jay used to work with Gary.

I shared shop space with Gary for a while. He had the 117 boat (Wood Decker) up until about 3 years ago. It was sold as a package deal (along with the 17 boat, old "Nutmegger") to someone in N. Calif. Heard the new owners were going to restore them as playboats, but haven't seen nor heard of either boat since.

Thanks guys, yes this boat was in N Cal., I bought it and plan on restoring it but not for racing ......I have a photo when Mr Gonzales owned it , same as the photo in 25th Parker but it does not show the name . What all can you all tell me about this boat ? Does anyone know what engine set up it was raced with thru the years ? thanks again, wayne

I spoke with Brian Wilson and he said that Wilkes Marine (where he works) is working with the new owner (out of Tenessee) and restoring the GN17 back to original (going to be a trailer queen).

Ross, I am that guy from Tennessee. It will be restored to a Racing format and will be ran on the Lakes and Rivers in Tennessee. It will not be used as a full Race boat. If we ever have a Race in this area there are several that might run their boats . I need information on the Boats History, past owners, names, records held etc. Thanks, wayne

I would guess 2002 or 2003.
