Ain't never seen a Mod 50 go SPLAT like that...Pretty sure, that is a V-6, 2.0 liter.......Nerstrom could fill in the blanks....on this motor...So could Jimbo.....AND so could Fred Hauenstein...

This was the OZ Worlds in Chasewater England. Renato had it in the bag but had to use his "brakes" and this is what happened. There is a three shot sequence that Brian Dewey shot. This is one of them. I'll pull the other two and post. If I remember Billy had three seconds and I think won this heat. Bobby ended up second as he, I think, won one heat and had some problems in two others. The memory is fading fast. All the Merc's were 2.4's and the OMC's were, I believe, three litre engines.
