If you visit BRF frequently (more than once a day) you may want to use a shortcut that not only gets you directly to the forums but also finds and clicks the "daily" button to show you all the posts of the past 24 hours, new ones and those you have already seen

www.boatracingfacts.com/forums/search.php?do=getdaily

If you check in less often you may want to use this link instead, it should show you all the new posts since your last visit

www.boatracingfacts.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew

The tricky part of this is if you try to save the webpage these links generate, you don't really get these links. Instead you get something like:
www.boatracingfacts.com/forums/search.php?searchid=98403

I'll update how to save these links with a few different browsers after I test each browser

OK, I got out my Mac version of Micro Soft Internet Explorer ... if the regular PC version is like it there are several ways to make the link work.

One way is to click on the link in the first post and let it forward you to the display page, add that page to your favorites and then go back and edit the address by going to Favorites and getting the drop down menu to show you Organize Favorites, then click on anything to get it to open the favorites side bar. Then click on the wwwboatracingfacts entry and try clicking on the address on the right ... once you get it highlighted, type in (or copy and paste if you know how) the link that has /forums/search.php?do=getnew after www.boatracingfacts.com
