Hey Guys....this looks a lot like a "VooDoo" hull. The ones I have
seen were made in Canada.

Looks like an Addictor. Originated at Havasu. Molds are at Clear Lake, CA.
Usually rigged with a 30 hp Nissan/Tohatsu.

I would say that boat looks like a G W invader just by the design of the dash.

It's definitly not a VOO-DOO they look exactly like a old Hydrostream (Vector or V-King)

a Hydrostream. Cerainly not a Vector nor a Viking. I'm thinkimg G. W. Invader. Just a guess

I meant that this boat was not a VooDoo as VooDoo's look like streams, yes it does look like an Ivader but the pointed nose throws me cuz all the ones i've seen had round noses. Here's a pic of a VooDoo

the nose part. Didn't notice it in the original pictue. Don't think it's a G.W. Invader.

Is it a Checkmate Playmate?

No Ted, this is a tunnel. If it was ours it might be one of the ones we built for the late Joe Hill. It's possible it'sthe fifth 13' we built and it was built for E Class. Just can't remember marking the inside of the transome.
In 1994 I had a conversation with a fellow radio control boat racer about full size boats. He said "I have a tunnel boat you have never heard off, an E & T".
I extended my hand and told him to shake hands with T. He didn't believe me so the next year at the Internats I presented him with two new nameplates for the boat.
He was still racing it in Indiana.
Found another in Florida a few years ago, running a long shaft V4 OMC. He said it handled great. I wouldn't have rowed it across the creek.

No doubt that it is a Hydro Stream. Look at it closely.

i know trhis is an old thread but it sure looks like a Checkmate Playboy from around 1970 could be a splash though
Early 70's Checkmate Playmate. It could also be a clone, produced in Canada under "Peterborough Boats", in Ontario. Both boats were 13' long. I beleive, Peterborough also made some 10' models.

Peterborogh made jetstars, they had completely different decks here's a jetstar from peterborogh.

That's for sure a Peterborough model! But, it is a picture of the second generation design. There are both generations on my lake. If I had a digital camera, I'd take a shot of the two together!
