It is really called Puddingstone, but the OFFICIAL name is Frank Bonelli Regional Park.
The California Antique Outboard Club is having awet meet on Saturday, February 10, 2007. You don't need to be a member to come....You need to know that the meet is on the south side of the lake. (Toward Orange County)....Going North on 57, it is the first exit past the 10 freeway...
I was thinking how much fun us SENIORS had at the December meet, but then thought about the kids that were at Puddingstone last wet meet.
I hope you'll come and enjoy the day, breing your kids and grand kids... Kids have this habit of growing up and doing things that their parents and grandparents did...
Check out this picture of a Junior Racer with an old Mark 5??? I think they were Mark 5's...
My brother picked up a PO Johnson in Selma, California the other day. He wants to restore it, and then give it to someone who would reallenjoy having it. So, if you are interested in a PO Johnson, bend my brother's ear at the meet.
Did anyone see what the Mark 20-H (Gold, non kit) went for on E-Bay the other day??? $4,500 , maybe a little more.... Today's junk is five years away from being an ANTIQUE!!!
I've been busy, moved to Tustin. Went to the APBA Convention is Los Angeles (Four days), working on promoting a Mini Enduro at Parker....
See You All at Puddingstone, February 10th...Call me if you get lost...(714) 608-7147
