V-4 comp LTV...

My LTV that introduced tha V-6 merc to tha V-4 comp class in ODBA...I raced this boat for the first yeer, with no chance ov winn'in, but only to see if tha 2.0 would be competitive with the nitro burn'in, Fuel Injected V-4's...Tha 2.0 ran with Carbs, and a weight ov 1150, but this particular hull would not git below 1240 in race form...But, I ran it like that juss to git a foot in tha door...Tha nex yeer, the 2.0 wuz officially entered into V-4 comp, which would later be Pro 120, and finally ODBA Sport Racer...Because ov LTV not so good reputation, I added a inch to tha vee, and reshaped the pad to unload air...I also moved the driver forward 10"s...

I just bought a 1984 Laser Tunnel Vee MOD VP boat it has a Merc 175 Black Max on it, I just put on a Hi perf prop 26P from 23P , I was clocked at 61MPH. I know that it has lots more in it, that speed was also with the 23P prop, I am just wondering if anyone out there know's which setback jackplate that I should be using with this config, the boat's is very different I will give full throttle and the RPMS get high then all the sudden the bow raises and the RPMS drop and she gain's speed. Does anyone know where to get 80s to 90s Mercury Black max cowling decals. I can't find them anywhere.
