Hi,
I'm working to update my website on K-boats but I can't find any links to go on. The K-boats still racing so I would like to know if the K Racing Association still exist and what NKRA means ? There is no k-boat representative at APBA?
Where is the head of these racing flat bottom?

Thank you very much:)

Gilles:
Contact Tony Scarlata as he is the new class rep for the KRR Class.
He can be reached at tonydoesloans@yahoo.com or via phone at 707-330-7374.
You can also go to www.superstockracingassoc.com and they have the K schedule.

NKRA stands for Needles K Racing Assoc. but they can't "race" any more at Needles due to insurance requirements and liability that the town has placed on them. It wasn't sanctioned racing.

Thanks,
Ross Wallach, SCSC/RPM RACING ENT.

The Needle K boats are a group of vacationers. The Ks are some of the same as run in the APBA races, but at Needles, it is a "vacation". The Needles Marina Park has issues with them launching there, due to their insurance company's fears about 130 MPH+ boats out for a good time. Last I heard, they were launching at Jack Smith Park, just down river. I think the Ks can still be seen on the trailers at the Needles Marina Park, just not launched there....Come on down to Parker in April, some of the Ks will be there.......MP
