Bought this new, trick, sick, whizzbag....whatever and need help using it...as TEACHERS can't read....If they do, they don't understand!

No doubt about it, she looks AWESOME and probably measure pitch like the wind...So far, everything I've measured said, "Four..." Hell, that's what they say in GOLF!!!!

Ron, where ya getting all the props? Are you modding Prather and Octura props. Those look like stainless ones although most RC racers use copper. I would be interested in your RC props.

I'm casting my own...You guys should know me by now...When I'm in, I'm in, when I'm out, I'm out...

I see a passion with RC'er, that I used to see in kneeldowns....

Maybe, because they have water close to home...maybe it is because it is for fun....

Maybe, the damn things is just COOL!

Rewind starers, gasoline burners...going like hell (55 plus MPH)...So seriously sweet equipment as Art Pugh used to say...

I'll sell anything I got....

I'll get you some numbers on the size props I run. I race outboard tunnel and Mod-VP 3.5 cc class mainly. Octura X440 and Prather 215 are comparable sizes, if you have an RC prop chart handy.

Thanks

From the Namba Web Site it doesn't show a Prather 215... 2.12 only..

Actually, the prop of choice to race with is 17-4PH stainless. This material is much harder and stronger then berrilyum allowing you to thin the blades down quite a bit more without much issue of folding a blade at speed.:)

Bunker and Rob are heading over Saturday morning...They'll see what they can bust this weekend...

I'm going....I'm almost positive, I could never learn to "Drive" an RC... My A.D.D. would kick in and I'd lay the contol box down and get a sandwich ot talk props, and "Wham", the boat would go on the rocks...

Ron are you adding any cupping or anything on the props you're selling?

Would like to try a 72mm 2-blade with around 4.50 pitch

Ron,

You may want to look for a pitch gauge made by Frank Orlic in Canada. Very easy to use. You might be able to purchase one from Speedmaster.

I guess I should have posted, but Bunker Hill basically explained how my guage worked and I've been using it. I'm going to see if I can't amke an easier to use one, this winter....(John Meyers, you hear that??). FYI: John makes my guages for big props...
