Hi Ron
The motor has 13 spline prop shaft. I have it on 13' 4" flat bottom plywood skiff, the whole thing with me in it weighs about 600#. I have been useing Propco 10 3/4 x16 spp (special performance prop) have raised it up and down and no matter what at about 45 mph it starts jumping and bounceing. Ran it up to about 50 once and about lost it.
After reading a lot of your threads way back in this forum about repitching, rake ,and stuff I ground the cup out off this prop. I felt it was ether trying to lift bow or pull transom down to much, so tried that along with letting motor down 3/4" really helped bounceing, but topped out under 50mph at 5600rpm.
You asked racing or river racing. Just a bunch of hillbillies playing on the Angelina river above and below lake Sam Rayburn. One of us will smack a gar fish or alligator sometimes and mess prop up,but i'ts just for fun or a six pack. Your help is really appreciated and a person can learn a lot from the team members on your website.
By the way,the kg7 prop is purty and the boat for that is almost finished. You should put special instructions with them for hillbillies telling them to ware gloves when installing cause they will cut you.Ouch!!!!
Thanks for reply

Being a "Hill" all my life, been called "Hillybilly" before, and "Hillbillie"...anyway....Some of us ain't easy to beat...

I guess on all props, and ladders, there should be a warning like: "Dangerous, BE CAREFUL"

What's the chance of posting a picture of your boat and prop??? I've got a few 13 spline props around, but I've made more than 100 in the last year.

Probably, build you one that would do more than scare hell out of you and your Hillbillie friends...I hope you are "Terrorizing" the river with a GOOD LIFE JACKET. Lifeline make some nice jackets for river racing.
