Hi all! My dad recently gave me his custom craft Manta Ray runabout, but it needs some things to make it usable once more. I was hoping that some of the experts on this forum could point me in the right direction.

The boat is solid and has a good transom, but is their any way to test that other than seeing rot or damage? Also, it needs some new parts, specifically a new windshield (old one was plexiglass(?) and you cant see out of it much anymore. Also some new rubber edging around the edge of the boat, along w/ any chrome trim it may have had. Are their resouces for these products, especially for the windshied? I really want to redo this boat and make it as original to 1960 as i can. Any help is much appreciated!

You may be able to buff out the windshield instead of replacing. What are you going to power with?
