Finish order:
1. Jim Summers
2. Paul Pittman
3. Gary Pugh
4. Doug Young
5. Donnie McDowell
6. Donnie Lick
7. Steve Ernst
8. Kelly Kidwell
9. Michael Floyd
10. Barry Wolf - DNS
Gary Pugh and Jeff Reno had a minor bump in a heat race that left Reno unable to continue to the final.
Paul Pittman started on the pole, but Gary took the lead for about half the race before a stumble allowed Jim and Paul to get past him.

Sorry Barry!
I was just going off of the APR results. Didn't mean to offend ya. I fixed the post...
Oh, and as far as I saw, Kelly Kidwell actually finished 5th on the course behind Doug Young. Maybe someone knows why he was scored 8th?

They Kinda Got Things Messed Up On The Apr Site. I Was 8th On The Dock And Donnie Was 9th And Floyd Was 10th For The Final. Maybe There Are Some Scoring Issues That Took Place?

What they have on the APR site as far as starting goes is right, Floyd wanted to start at the end because he wasn't sure that it would start.
I thought I heard something about some penalities, but I was in a hurry to leave and didn't check it out.

Mark77: Kelly finished 5th and we had to bug out quick due to some problems at home. Nobody said sikkum to us before we left. We found out later that we had been scored 8th. No explanation until we called APR than was informed we were penalized for "rough driving"!! What a joke!!
Granted, while he and Young were dicing it out, there was a slight contact of boats, but man thats just racing. There was no attempt by Kelly to bump and I think this just stinks. APR could have at least told us before we left Peoria.
I thought it was all legit and was a good race. Just my opinion
See you in Trenton

Yeah, that's a bad deal. I'm not sure what happened.
Thanks for clearing that up, Jim.
See you in Marietta!

Mark: Are you bringing the F-2 or the F-3 to Marietta Race? If you are running F-3, we might possibly need an extra hand on the launch ramp and possibly on the dock. It's hard to count on good pit help at the salary we pay!!
See ya in Ohio

I'll have the good ol' yellow SST-60. I'll make a deal, I'll TRADE help with the 120 for help with the 60!
I think I'm going to be a one man team again.

Chris: How come you didnt show up at Peoria? Thought for sure you'd be chompin at the bit to show us up. Make the ole poor Opti-Max look bad!!
See ya in Marietta.. we'll figure out some help somehow. We might have pit help. That launch ramp is not the greatest but at least they have tractors to get ya into the water. The dock is another story tho.
Keep the painted side up
