I have not tried to keep up with Offshore, but am interested...
Fill me in on what's happening. What about POPBRA on the West (LEFT) Coast????
And where does APBA fit?
And who's doing all the work? Or who is running the show (s)???

Ron, APBA has Merged with SBI to form World Powerboat Racing Inc.
We will race under APBA UIM sanction and received the rights to run Offshore for APBA for ten years. John Carbonell is the president and Bob Bull is our UIM Rep. Steven David and Jeff Brown are our chief referee's, and Dina Carbonell and Jim Poplin are VP's. As far as POPRA, GLSCS, and OPA are concerned, there are talks in progress about them being divisional series for the new APBA/SBI.
That's all I know, but if you have anymore questions, I will try to get the answers for you.

I rread your post but didn't get back right away.
So, what does all this mean?
I know and like Steve David, and assume he's a hundred percent behind the new "VENTURE"...
Where does a man go to find out what the classes are? Who's doing what?
Maybe, the West Coast should go back to the OLD DAYS when we had RUM RUNS....(Or "Run What You Brung").

Right now we are working on the rules for 05 trying to merge the two sets of rules. As soon as they are done, the will be posted on
www.apba-offshore.com
The P class rules are for the run what you brung boats. As it is now, it is based on average lap speed
P5 cannot exceed 69.9 average lap speed
P4 79.9 " "
P3 89.9 " "
P2 99.9 " "
P1 109.9 " "
The Pro Series rule are much more detailed and I think are on the site
I believe POPRA will be following the same rules.
