1978' Witchcraft.......

I have a 1978 Witchcraft / Blacksabath.....Same as the boat in the MOD VP pics with Tim Soars behind the wheel! I thought it was pretty cool finding this web-site and that pic, because that boat is the reason my Dad bought the one I have now! Up untell now I'd never seen the boat he'd told me inspired him to buy his! He built it and race it for a while from 78' until 80', maybe 81'....... My question is, now that I own the boat I would like to bring it back to life as a weekend warrior. I know the boat that Tim drove had alot of work done to the hall to get the speeds he wanted! Soo.... Any body have pic's or info on the bottom and transom of that boat? I Know after you guys read this you will probably tell me to through mine in the trash and pick a different hall to mess with..... My dad did! Matter of fact after racing it he painted the name,"Thanks for nothing Witchcraft" on it!...lol

I'd love to try racing....... I need to figure out how to set-up a boat thats fast enough to try first..... Instead of owning a boat that is torn apart-trying to make it fast 11 1/2 months out of the year! For the last 3 years! Well.... A bigger boat budget wouldn't hurt either! To bad you couldn't race kitchen cabinets, I already have thousands invisted in those!:D
