My Carlson CT15. I was told it was raced in the Pennsylvania and Ohio area before it was in an accident. It was restored in the mid 80s. 35 yr old boat in storage for approximately 23 years. Not original, but it gets alot of looks! Pickle fork frontend after repair. :)

Another Glastron/Carlson hull I remember as a young'un.:D

The stunt with James Bond's boat jumping over Sheriff J.W Peppers car actually set a new world record - 120 feet. To enable the jump large water-ski ramps where brought in to give the crafts the proper height. :::eek:

Is this what it looked like before the crunch?

Danny - Nice vintage pic. Reminds me of a modern boat design like the one below. just not a tunnel.

The other Carlson "ahead of its time" was the Twister with an
enclosed cockpit..

:) My boat even has red paint under the white, just like the boat in the Carlson ad. I wish it was all original, with the shovel nose and cowling. Wouldn't mind having an inline on it also. My 90hp omc is a crossflow, anyone no which omc v4s will turn 6500 rpms. I've got an SRX prop worked by DAH and if I had a motor that would turn higher rpms this thing would go! Tere's a Vector I'm tired of chasing!

That is my dad driving the CT-15 for the Carlson add. He later ran the boat w/ the #27 on on.

Get you some larger carbs. It will wake it up but the ports wont let it turn 6500.140 heads and exhaust would be nice too.

Thanks for the reply Beaver.

I think I'm going to put the 90 on a pontoon and look for a 140 for the boat.
That kills 2 birds with 1 stone. I promised my wife a pontoon this year. "Gee honey that saves us money, but now I need a motor for the boat.":D

Fulltilt, your Carlson is the spitting image of my old 15' "Ebco" Semi tunnel I had back in 1972 minus the fork. As I remember it Ebco bought the molds from Carlson and marketed a semi and full tunnel. I see you have MC numbers from Mich, I would love to see your boat some time since I am in Mich as well. Give me a shout if you like to hook up some time.

Islandmon, Where are you located? I don't have a motor on my boat right now. My wife got her pontoon with my motor.:( My boats in a garage on Secord Lake in Gladwin Co.

NERSTROM, Any luck? I'd like to get mine back to original condition also! What size OMC? Do you know what style props were ran on these boats? Every prop I've try has too much bowlift.

No luck yet. Plan to use an OMC V4. Most used cleaver style props.
