cool pictures!!! I especially like pictures 28-30!! That Aristocraft used to belong to my good friend Bob Eddy (from Cali and easily identified by the CA reg numbers still on the boat), who passed away suddenly several years ago. He bought the hull new (repro), had the trailer custom built for it and I was the one that built the MK55 (MK58 built powerhead) from a pile of parts he gave me from several different motors (and some of mine). That boat has some good history in the few years that Bob owned it. I really loved that boat and would have bought it from his wife, when Bob passed away, but I knew I would not have had the time to use it properly. Glad to see it has resurfaced and in a new owners possession!
PS: me and Bob put a LOT of time setting that boat up!
PSS: if someone knows the new owner, I would love to talk to him/her about the boat and its history.........

I think the Aristocraft showed up at the 06 Lake Hopatcong NJ meet too. A real nice boat.

KG4-The Constantine meet is a great one to attend. One of the biggest in AOMC. Didn't make the one this year, so many thanks to Tom for the pixtels.
Last year would have been one you might have drooled over. The main topic was the Champ Hot Rods. Roger Dykehouse did a bang up job setting that up.
They came out of the woodwork for both running and show. Cooper Jess even showed what is believed to be one of 2 20-Hs that Merc tried an internal rotary valve.
How did you like Roger's Evinrude Zephyrs? He is trying to get one to really get up and go. Th 6 piper was a crowd pleaser. Had them scratching their heads.
Thanks again Tom for the posting.

Constantine last year was a blast. That is me in the very first picture running a 1927 Minnesota Gopher along with my son, Chris in the middle and Jack Craib in the front. Roger D did a super job with that six piped Zephyr and rigged up some smoke coming out of the middle (dummy) pipe so it appeared that it was a 6 cylinder motor. He did have people scratching their heads trying to figure out that one.
Daren,
I believe the new owned is Bob Huff. I am not sure where he comes from but I can find out as he is an AOMCI member. Did you use that Mercury remote control unit I got you on that rig?

This year, the Constantine Super Meet will be held on July 11th, 12th and 13th. Constantine Michigan is just across the border north of Indiana by about 20 miles or so. Constantine is located right along the banks of the St. Joseph River on MI 131. For more information, check out www.aomci.org and look up the "upcoming events"
