If you don't get your $30 registration fees in my hand, but Monday, July 23, 2007, you'll miss me. I'm leaving Tuesday morning before my mail person comes. You can Pay Pal me anytime...

BUT, the $30 fee is quite simple:

Basically:

1. $10 for the dinner (Corn, brats, hot dogs and hamburgers)...
2. $18-20 for a T-shirt and printed name tag...

You can come an "HANG OUT" and NEVER REGISTER. The Dinner will be $10 for walk ups, registered or not...If you have a name tag, that means you've paid $10.00.

T-shirts will be on sale for $20 bucks and hats will, I'm not sure...Posters will be $2.00.

Silent Auctions are open to EVEYONE in the whole entire world without registering for anything...There will be 31 plaques, presented to the auction winners, Friday night....

Anyone can buy beer or mixed drinks the bar will be open...to all. ANyone can buy me a beer also!

Chairman, John Schubert and I wanted people to pre-register so we had a chance to make packets ahead of time...When I say "WE", I think that means John's wife...

We've ordered 300 meals, many more drinks and a tent...WE ARE HAVING A PARTY called a REUNION...

See you there, please bring old pictures, boats, motors, magazines and anything you think people might like to look at...

ADD: Does anyone have Dr. Phil Wagner's phone number???

I've decided, after seeing a contest in the Orange County Register....That at this Reunion, anyone caught using the words, "Geezers, Old Timers, Old Farts or any other term like that" will have top pay a fine of a BUCK, I'll have a jar for FINES... I mean, what kind of an Boat Racing event could we have with OUT RULES, DAMN IT!!!!

Maybe, I'll bring a scales, and we could have Edgar Rose weigh everyone!!!

Pictures is from December, 1978 Powerboat Magazine...

Phil Wagner and Dick Hoppenrath...Lee Sutter at the wheel!

I e-mailed Lee Sutter about coming, NO ANSWER!!!! A DePue Reunion without "Sutter's Gold", just doesn't seem right!

Bad picture, man...When the camera recharges, I'll take another.

For some reason I thought Lee was coming. I have a photo waiting for his autograph. What about Ron and Don Anderson?

Also I just printed out a photo of Dr. Phil Wagner for his autograph also.

When Joe and I get to see Marshall, I will get this signed, then Billy Seebold will be there in time to sign it also for the silent auction. It was taken at the very first AOF Pro race in Gravois Mills, Missouri in 1972.

I saw Lee Sutter and Bobby Herring at Jack Leek's funeral. Lee said he was coming...Bobby wasn't sure. Both agreed that Ron Anderson was probably WAY too busy to make it. FYI: Ron does a TON of Formula One , Europe, engines and takes care of Scott Gillman's motors...a full time job in itself...Plus does engines in Australia....and, from what I've heard, been working on a Champboat Evinrude for Greg Jacobsen...Greg Foster will be driving this Evinrude, at St. Louis, on a Seebold hull, the weekend after the Reunion...

Anderson, Herring and Sutter may just "SHOW UP" Friday....(How many races have you gone to on Friday night, when on THURSDAY YOU WEREN'T going NO MATTER WHAT????).

IE: P-9 Cracker Box of Scott Schotz....Thursday before Chowchilla, I'm at Scott's Shop at lunch time (good planning.)....No motor, no steering......an empty boat...They TELL ME YHEY AIN'T GOING TO CHOWCHILLA...no time. Friday, I tell the Cracker Box guys I see, at Chowchilla, "Scott ain't coming..." They all say, "We know, they just ran out of time...." Saturday morning, we're pulling into the pits, there is P-9.....They finished her at 3:00 A.M. and made a run for Chowchilla....

As in Baytown, Texas, last March, I expected to see 25 people, I saw 350....at DePue, I'm still expecting to see 750 Boat Racers...current and past...

I got everything packed...but didn't have room for my metamucil...I thought about it, then I thought about my "CHUMS" in DePue...Hell, I just won't chew my corn...

I have brought my new and old camera, if we can find wireless or any hook up, Broc and I will post...something.
