Picked-up my ride 2 weeks ago, which is why I couldn't go to the DePue Reunion last week. I can't remember what part of TX this is...except west of San Antonio. This is the 3rd SST120 boat in CA now and I've been told there are 3 more in the works for 2008.

Dean....there's a palm tree in the background, there's green grass, no hills!

You can't be too close to San Antonio....but you can't be way far. You must have a different route.;) :D

Nice looking boat!!! It is nice to see some more big boats in california. Some fast ones too!:) Maybe 2008 can see some of us heading down there to a race or few. OOPS I mean see family:)

Are you going to race it this year at all? We do have back to back weekends at the end of sept. 2 days at Chelan and 3 days at issaquah.

Hi Curtis, The paint was in ok shape. except for the couple of spots that needed fixing. I sold it to a guy in california. I believe he was going to repaint it.

Congrats on your new boat!
I've made that road trip across TX. to CA. many, many times....the best time to drive it is in the middle of the night!;) Not much to see between Kerville and El Paso....

I'm hoping to be a boat soon!

Actually, the full trip was from LA to Baton Rouge and back, I-10 all the way. I think the first picture is at a rest stop about half way between San Antonio and El Paso, about 6:00 am. I think the second is somewhere in AZ that night, we were in TX sooo long it just seemed as if TX shares the border with CA.

I did see your boat re-painted, Erik. Don't know for sure that it's rigged or tested yet, but it's supposed to be. We're going to Bakersfield in Oct and will plan our sched for 2008.

Dean,

Is that Bigfoot's first or second boat? Lack of orange makes me think second. Byron was always fast with either boat though.

Hey Eric,

Sorry I missed you'all at Depue. You're right, it's the second. I had my choice of either one and picked this one after talkin' with Gary in January.

Say Hi to the family for me!
