No way Ron. The # on the boat indicates it's 007! :eek: Probably got drop from a low flying cargo plane.

At that point in the pic I would say the guy that came out of the white boat is in the middle of his troubles. The guy in the black boat is about to experience his and I would imagine has some serious pucker factor going on.
These look like drag flatbottoms so I would be interested in knowing just how the he!! two boats got into each other like that.

The 007 number belonged to the late Ray Caselli. He had the blowen fuel flat record in the early 70s. The record was 152 or 156. He ran Zeuschel engines and Hondo Hulls. He was a great guy!

Dug up these pictures from Western Speed Sport Magazine, May 1967...
Great old stuff. I forgot Rawleigh did his early engines. Shame on me. Boy time sure does fly when your having fun! Ray is gone, Dave Z. is gone and so is Irv ---- But they sure had fun when they were around.
