Tradgedy at Grass Lake Mi race

John Loomer passed away at the grass lake race of an apperant heart attack.He just retired from ford motor company and this was his first race in 22 years.I only met him once and he was a really nice guy.Keep his family in your prayers.Details can be seen at hydro racer web site.God Bless you John:(

I was very sad to hear of John's passing. I had been in contact with him and we exchanged our racing histories. I am going to MI the end of Oct and John said that we should get together with a beer and talk over the racing days of old and his return to running. Needless to say, this will not happen. From what I have read on the OTHER SITE, he had made his mark helping out and made quite a few friends. He told me how he looked forward to retirement and getting back into a boat again.

I send my condolences to the family knowing they had a good man. May the good Lord raise him up to Lake Paradise to continue his endevors.
