...or as my son, CK said, "Dad, boat races rock!!!" And it does not get any better than that to a dad's ears.

CK can't stop talking about Tim's driving and loud boat (neither can I ) . So, Tim you have a new fan to add to your fan club!!!!

My wife brought all her friends and family to the race on Sunday...the city of Orange and the Sport Racing group did a great job! The races made the Saturday night news on TV, and I saw crews on Sunday filming as well.

Thanks Doug, as it turned out we were more moral support than physical help. It was great to finally meet you and your family. Glad your wife's hand is healing...thanks for giving my son your autograph!

Met a bunch of folks, made some new friends, can't wait to see what happens next!

...I'm hoping there is a boat in the next picture with us! I don't have enough words to tell everyone how much fun my family and I had....everyone I met was very friendly, lots of good belly laughs, folks helping each other out everywhere you turned! I really enjoyed Laurie and Jan's service--had a nice chat with him, and need to remember to call Fred Miller.

In spite of all the issues I was having ,I can't complain to much. It was INTERESTING to say the least trying to drive and finish the race with the Hot foot loose and held by one bolt:eek: I had my left foot behind it with my heel wedged against the capsule while I pushed down with my right,and it tilting foreward and swiveling when I pressed down on it,:p I restarted and finished the race with it like that,I was laughing the whole time thinking OK what else is going to happen:D Oh well I finished!!!
Today is the day to get ready for next year,,,, I have alot to do,, 6-7 months will go by quick:)
