I hope I have done enough to win this event, in turn it will give me the SCSC/APBA Region 12 Nostalgia Jet Championship. It is going to be a few sleepless nights before the racing starts.

BTW- This is the first jet boat that Ron Hill has ever been in.

The boat looks good! Good luck at Bakersfield... Don't break nuthin, I want to see it running Parker in two weeks!

I appreciated the offer earlier for the pit stop on the way to Bakersfield if I was heading over... Unfortunately, I'm not going to make it... Thanks though!

Ya know, nothing sucks (or blows) quite like a jet... I'm sure you haven't heard that before...

Steve,

Well we have a great set-up for Parker and a real strong engine as well, no broken parts other than the wallet. We will be ready in a few weeks for some more racing fun at the Parker 300. We are shooting for a finish with no broken parts, thats it. In '05 the races cost me an engine and almost my life with a heart attack an hour after I was off the water. In '06 we lost an engine on lap 3 so we stuffed the broken rod up inside the cyl and ran 1 more lap. This year everything looks good a strong solid boat and engine cobo.

BTW-Finish 3rd at Ming and second for the season in Nostalgia Jet.
