non jet pwc?

I can't believe nobody has tried to use a snowmobile drivetrain in a pwc type boat,track and all.Seems there would be some serious benefits speed-weedless operation-range-possible active suspension-and speed.Sleds go 120mph plus on ice,with a cat or hydro hull I gotta believe tripple digits are within reach.I'm starting a 12ft. hydro this weekend will post pics.Any thoughts?

i have often played with that same idea ... sleds are often raced over open water and its been said they can really s**t an get , soooooo if one built a hull then track under center just sticking down enough to "grab " some "traction" on the water .... hummmm , a hot motor say 125 -150 hp , show us pics when ya start buildin it , ....
