We've been busy. But this weekend we started shooting paint. Here are some photos taken this weekend in the booth. The first four coats of primer are on. Next week, we sand and glaze the pin holes, scratches, etc. Color coats next weekend.

Nothing better than seeing a restore coming together.Makes all the hard work seem worth while when the color gets put on.Keep the pictures coming.:)

The long wait is over. We've completed the painting of the colors and now progress to touching up the varnish and shooting 3-4 coats of varnish on the deck.

Engine is almost done.

Paint still needs a few touch ups.

Trailer is the next project but here are some photos from today. The graphics are all vinyl with some shading done by airbrush. Engine is a 360 inch SBC. It shold product 600-650HP.

We're nearly done. The seat is off being upolstered and then that will be installed. The hardware is all done. All red! There is still a list of items to be compelted but they are on the trailer. I still need to purchase lifting slings and some other 'stuff' (2 drain plugs, a prop puller, and work covers).
The trailer needs work but that we knew.

I've attached some final photos. Some are repeats (there are only so many angles you can shoot a boat sitting on a work stand).

One final note. We are looking for 'the next project'. In particular, any Lauterbach GP or 7ltr, the Jones Long Gone (GP-4), Any Jones 7ltr, any Staudacher 7ltr.

I hope some of you can come out and see this thing in the daylight, it's quite bright with all the yellow. We'll be running at Dayton Testing (whenever that is), Madison (July 4th weekend), Detroit (during the Gold Cup) and maybe Nashville. Come and see us!
