I don't think too many of us know about this site yet

I ran into Alan Butler yesterday. I told him about this site and hope he will come on. Alan won either World or Nationals in his outboard class 4 or 5 years ago. He developed a prototype, successfully won and built molds to start production of his own boats. At that time the rule allowed a max length for his class of 30' with a 6" tolerance. He built his molds for 30'6". The rule that said no changes for 5 years changed and his design was kaput. Alan quit driving then, but has still kept up with what's going on. His throttle man is in Saudi Arabia right now for three weekends of racing. Alan said he couldn't take off a month to race, but you could tell the bug was there. He said his throttle man is checking things out.;)

The more sights the merrier! I think the only thing about this site is the fact that it appears to be heavily weighted in favour of the tunnel/circuit racing scene - nothing wrong with that in itself! But there are an increasing amount of sites out there that have cornered the market to coin a phrase. As an offshore fan I have posted the odd thread to have very few replies - maybe you need to go to all these other sites and start some serious plugging of this site?? I'm sure the owners wouldn't object! Good Luck!

Debbie and I were in Port Aransas the last couple of days and I saw this as we were crusin the streets to see how much it had grown.

I think this was the paceboat for the East Coast/West Coast Shootout that was held for a number of years in Corpus Christi Bay. I am not sure that event is still on. It's been a couple of years since I heard about it. (I don't read newspapers or listen to local news.)
