Sport Highlands Tx Race 4/13

Sport Racing Series will kick off with the Spring Classic at Baytown Boat Club on April 12/13. Saturday will be testing only, Sunday the 13th is race day.

Should be a good turn out,,,,,,,,Trying to get an idea of boat Count, please post up if you think your going to be able to make it:) 120/45/Tri-Hull.

Should be plenty of testing/ motor break in/ or what ever you need to do time for everyone on Saturday with the rescue guys there.:eek:

I think capsule testing will also be available

We will gladly do capsule training on that date. But keep in mind the ramp will be busy or crowded. We will also be out on the course. Therefore, if you are not certified, you will not be able to test. If you cannot make the April 5th capsule training date let me know as well, so we can make arrangements to get you certified in time to test....Mike

I'm planning on being there the 4th for capsule training if I get a capsule jacket and helmet in time. Boat should be ready by then, should have some seat time by then too...aiming to get it all together by the 4/12-13 testing and race. I'll be the boat with the big orange "slow moving vehicle" triangle and orange stripe on the motor:p

i'm in. i will need to get a capsule test as well.... was a great weekend last year with a great Sunday crowd to boot! With saturday testing, i can't imagine a better way to dial in for port neches.

Just ask! Tim, you were the first person I told! Doug and Mike figured it out on their own since I was suddenly looking for a capsule jacket and helmet...don't think anyone else asked.

So, YES, I got a boat late last week!!!!!!!!!!! And yes, I am in that excited, nervous, deer in the headlights, what have I done mode....trying to get it all together. I'm keeping my fingers crossed to find a jacket and helmet somewhere before capsule training....still waiting on a gearcase.

Anyway, my mind's been elsewhere the last couple days. Got a call on the way back from picking the boat up, and Dad is in the hospital again....he's 84, and we are just praying for him.

Here's a picture....no numbers, no accent colors yet....

Nate has been waiting a long time for this, longer than I want to mention. I am pretty sure he won't be giving up the drivers seat anytime soon. I think he slept in the boat the first night he got it home:D An we should have him ready to go race soon.

his past due debt is finally clear
back in the hands now of james and darrel
they have a new driver for it

so it should be back on the water at highlands
