Dick Rautenberg won the A Hydro Nationals in Moses Lake, Washington, like 1962. He has been racing with his kids and grand kids ever since.

Susan Rautenberg was very good in 20 SS Hydro. Sheryl was HOT in A Stock... Now the Prop Shop Team has Ashley and Collin Rucker (Dick's grand kids racing).....Ashley won K Pro at DePue....Dick gets to pay most of the bills....

It was nice seeing The Prop Shop in NY!!!

As I understand it, Lynn Anderson, Ron Anderson's wife is Penny Anderson's sister. So, Collin and Ashley are related to the great engine man, Ron Anderson.

Casey Parsons?? What is this connection?

Ron, you are correct about Lynne and Ron Anderson. The Casey Parsons thing is a stretch, but it is through a marriage. Howard Anderson's daughter married Mark Borges who is Casey Parson's Nephew. It's on the same pricipal as the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. Using this pricipal, are all of us in the racing world related somehow? LOL

You do know that Wayne Peeter's wife, Penny, is my cousin...Her brother John Heggenburger raced for at least 20 years....Wayne still races..and John Peeters races also...

It could be an interesting thread....but I'm not starting it!!!

My uncle is Bob Rautenberg. He was a great racer in his day. My dad's sister, Kappy Sutter, married Bob. His brother is Dick. So the Sutter's are in that NW mix.
