Guy's My dad Ken Leyde and his brother Jim fabricated this hydro in 1980 or 81. It was made from copying one of Ron Jones boats that was in are local club ( Nortwest powerboat assn.) in MN. they made a few changes to the design and it ran great. It was ran at the western div. in Pulson MT. I think the year was 1982? also at the nats in Decater IL the same year. a few years later the local club kind of folded. :( The boat was than sold in about 1986 or 87 to a guy in Ohio(?). I know it was raced in ohio. Tom Yeager from MN raced against it there. That was the last we have known of it.

Does anyone know if this hydro is still out there? Or have pic's or contact info to the current owner?

Thanks
Mark Leyde (Lights)

I'll do it for you. Posting pics on Vintage is tougher than it is here.

You post, and let me know when you do, and I'll come in right behind you ( ) and post the pic.
