One of my favorite Parker memories is the sound of their V-12 on open headers.

I just found this picture from the Taree (Australian) boat races over Easter weekend. I wonder what class they call this?

If he flips this boat he'll likely break his neck. There is no head clearance. You have to have a 2 inch space MINIMUM.

Yeah I remember when Richard Berg first started using the cosworth, they thought they were just going to run right over everybody, back then we were all trying to catch Bill Only in ET 23 The El Eagle and he was five time US 1 for our class. But I'll take our Chevy Stroked big block any day! And besides you knew they would take the early led and then brakedown. He was the kamakaze Kid!! Those were the days!!

Now that I look at it closely, that looks like a V-8.

Don't get me wrong Mitch ran a V8 When he got into a fight with the Jag people, infact when he was on his way up here to walker lake he was going to run the V8, he just never made it, The silverwing that Mitch ran had a different caling on it and no capsel, Todd's did, my Dad ( Gary Mills ) bought Mitch's Seebold hull from him.

This isn't Terry, I'm the younger son Dale, and no my Dad passed about 7 months ago, a guy named Dave Griffith bought it from my dad, he raced it with our help, we went down to parker and dave was killed, for some reason he came out the side of it in a corner and was killed, If I rember right in 1987 or so the boat went back east some place none of us really know what happened to it, after all this happened my dad was done, we never raced again after this.
