I am glad you and Ted put this together. Between you guys and some of the folks like Mike Butler and a few others we should be able to see some great photos and see how it was in the glory days of racing. A thought may be to establish a photo Gallery of some of the historic race stuf for all to enjoy. It is ashame that alot of this information has been lost over the years. I was at the Lake a couple of years ago and saw some of the old Mercury posters they had found of the Gold Coast Marathon. Dave Craig first in a Sitzer wing and Sirois second in a S-18 sterndrive. I believe the year on the poster was 1966 or 68.
