Can anyone explain what performance differences may be expected from these two prop styles with all other factors being equal (pitch, dia, rake, etc) ??
Thanks.

Choppers have 22 degrees of rake, and lift the bow like CRAZY... Cleavers, Mercury Style, have 15 degrees of rake. Figure 5 degrees of rake being the same as one pin hole in a outboard...When you move the pin from three holes to four holes the bow goes up...Chopper at 22 degrees, has 1 2/5 pin hole kick out more than a cleaver.

Yes we all know that the rake is different but what if all
factors are the same?
Have you ever compared MERC 20" cleaver with stock alu 15"
round ear prop, they are almost the same exept that on the cleaver
the back is cut straight, even the profile is the same.
