  1. You have to remove a lock screw in the cap, the control rod that goes up also and then rotate the cap either way. They had a tool to rotate the cap but you can use a large pliers or tap lightly.

    I have sort of a tech question for you. Actually, Rog Dykehouse pointed me in your direction. Are you familiar with the 2L-HD motor? I am enquiring if an impeller from a Hot Rod will fit this motor. I've acquired the 2L recently, and there is a section that forms the leading edge of the foot. How does one remove this part without damaging the case, as it is "stepped"? By the way, I'm the guy in NY you sent the 2 fuel pump bodies and cover plate to, about two years ago. I'd appreciate any advice given.
