  1. hi Joe its Dennis Aylor Buddy Aylors son. And Bennys brother. getting back in racing stock div. e and super e class how are you ole friend?
  2. Joe- Boy do I miss those days. Even though I ran stock (CU), Most of my friends were from the Island alky crowd. I remember Pete Voss running a PO Johnson when he started and his Dad Herb, built his boats as well as for many others. Now living in Scottsdale, I am unable to meet up with those still racing at Constantine,Mi race when I lived in MI. Like you say, great days.
Got a call last night from Danny Piggot in SC. Spent over an hour talking over old times when I was stationed in the AF at Charleston. He knew many racers I knew when he started to run.
Have a great One. Al Lang 30-N N-71
P/S The N-71 was my assigned alky number when I had a QUincy looper (CRR)
  3. Allen,I had more fun with Dicky ,JIm,Big George ,ODEA ,Pete Voss and BOb. Great Days
  4. Joe- The only one I got to meet at the 1964 NOA nationals was Ray Jefferies. Quite a guy. Al Lang
  5. Hi Joe- I did not know any of the Louisiana boys you mentioned. After my time in the Air Force, I went back to NY. The guys I knew were mostly from the Long Island crowd, the late Bill Fales, Dick Scopinich, Pete Hellsten and still with us, Roy Conklin,Jack Gosman, and a few others. I did get to meet some while in the service in SEBA and NOA.
Take care and have a great day.

    Happy Birthday, Joe..................
  7. Thanks Joe,
The job is going great, although I don't feel that I am racing anymore, shop job. This is the first time in 10 years that I am not traveling to races. It is amazing to not work weekends and go home at 4:30 each day. I was missing working on race cars so I bought a 76 Lola formula ford race car. I am restoring it from the ground up. If you ever are in the Charlotte area let me know I'll give you the inside tour of Hendrick Motorsports, tell all the boat racers the same for me. I hope all is good with you also.

    Craig
