  1. Thanks Karen. I always enjoy your posts. You've got some interesting history.
  2. Happy Birthday Wayne!
  3. Hi Diane. I know who Lee Richter is and have met him, but I don't know about Robert. Lee raced and retired about eight or ten years before I started. He was one of the top boat racers of the Lone Star circuit, and if you go to the archives at BRF and look up the Lone Star Reunion you will see pictures and comments about Lee. I have mentioned him as well in some of the stuff I have written. He was a bomber pilot in World War II and was one of the featured commentators of one of the programs. I had only met him several months earlier, although I had remembered his name. I was blown away by what he had done. When I first started racing, Lee ran a little OPC stuff. One of the first to drive a tunnel in Texas. It would be interesting to hear what else you find out. Maybe they can add some info from their family. I know that Lee was a very talented racing and a consummate gentleman. Hope to see you at DePue;

  4. Wayne, hi. I was chatting with someone and they said that their father and grandfather raced out of Texas. The names were Lee Richter and Robert Richter. Not sure what they raced or if you knew them. See you soon,

    Diane
  5. Thanks Mark. Anything I can help you guys do to fill in gaps on old motors and promote the preservation history, call on me anytime. Hope to see you again at DePue.
  6. Hi Wayne. Thanks for the info. I have never seen that number motor... the closest thing I have to it is FA 68319. If I should happen to run across 305, I'll let you know.

  7. Thanks Karen and Joe. You wouldn't gain much though Joe. I could also wish I had as much experience as you. Heh Heh1

  10. I tried a couple of times Bill, but those numbers come up empty. I even tried looking at photos for sell, but I could see right away that would not work. What was the photo?
