  1. Just found your message. The powerhead is an un modified OMC 22ci. Heads shaved for comp ratio increase. Looking back it would run with standard head. The carb is a floatless CarterN. Roger Dykehouse made that change for me having researched fuel air ratio as compared to Methanol. I wanted to try it because it is more available to me than Methanol and it's a newsy fuel so why not. I have the timing locked and will get some kickback unless pulling over sharply. I had a spec on that but have dialed it up in increments and haven't taken a reading with the dial indicator. I'm not set up for accurate measure but can read BTDC and point opening position
